Todd Barcus

Todd Barcus has been employed as the Attendance Director/Student Services Director since the 2011-12 school year.  He began his career with Wetzel County Schools in 2001, as a substitute teacher.  He served in many roles for ten years at Magnolia High School as a teacher, coach, counselor, and advisor for the Science National Honors Society prior to becoming an administrator at the central office.  Todd is a lifelong Wetzel County resident.  He has a bachelor’s degree in Biology from West Virginia University, a master's degree in Secondary Education from WVU,  a post graduate certificate as an Attendance Director from Marshall University Graduate College, and a second master's degree in Educational Leadership from Salem University.  His wife, Angie is also a teacher for Wetzel County Schools, at New Martinsville School.  They have two daughters, Halle and Lindsey.
