Magnolia High School’s Business Innovators had an incredible time at the Entrepreneurship Day at Shepherd University. This is a part of the Bridging Innovation program! They learned more about marketing, prototyping, and pitching their big ideas.. It was an amazing opportunity to learn, collaborate, and grow. The students also had a blast networking with fellow innovators from around the state, exchanging ideas and gaining new insights. They also got to do a little sight seeing along the way! This experience is helping shape the next generation of entrepreneurs! #BridgingInnovation

Magnolia TSA spent the last few days attending the WV State TSA Conference! The chapter had a great time attending sessions and competing in their various contest to show off all their hard work. They were sure to cheer each other on at every turn. The future of stem and technology is in great hands! Mr. Trimmier’s Earth & Space Science classes participated in breakout box activity to review their knowledge about geologic time for their upcoming assessment. This activity was supported by Mrs. Emch, Technology Integration Specialist (TIS). The hands-on experience made reviewing geologic time both fun and memorable. Students worked on their critical thinking skills, as well as tested their depth of knowledge of the material. By the end of the activity, the students not only had a great time but also gained a deeper understanding of the vast timeline of our planet. It was a "rock-solid" learning experience!

Magnolia FFA had an amazing time at the WV Small Farms Conference today! 🌟 Our students attended insightful workshops, heard from incredible speakers including representatives from NRCS, Jim Justice's office, USDA, and WVDA. They also got to connect with amazing vendors at the trade show and learn from the best in the business! Magnolia CTE traveled to Charleston, WV today to showcase their technical expertise! The Magnolia Greenhouse SWP engaged participants by teaching them the proper techniques for taking plant cuttings, allowing them to take home their own plant cutting as a keepsake. Meanwhile, Magnolia Market highlighted their entrepreneurship skills, providing an insightful overview of the various Magnolia CTE programs. They also demonstrated how they use 3D pens to create prototypes, showcasing their innovative approach to learning and creativity.

Mr. Sapp's AP Government class had an exciting and engaging time working on the breakout box activity on the judicial branch of government with the support of Mrs. Emch (TIS). The students eagerly collaborated, solving puzzles and deciphering clues that led them through judicial terms and concepts. The hands-on experience not only deepened their understanding of the judicial branch but also fostered a sense of camaraderie and teamwork. It was a "supreme" day of fun and learning!

This event promises to be a spooktacular celebration filled with a variety of activities for our all ages. The event will feature trick-or-treating, face painting, art projects, photo opps, all with a festive Halloween theme. We hope to see you all there.
