HAPPY EASTER 🦅!!

Yesterday at NMS, the egg hunt was ON! Students searched high and low, because those sneaky eggs were everywhere! No place was off-limits. Laughter and lots of excitement filled the air as students scrambled to find every last egg. What a fun way to hop into spring!

Fourth grade students created posters for the 2025 Wetzel County Farm Bureau Poster Contest for Agriculture in WV. Each homeroom voted on the top 3 in the classroom which were then judged by the teachers. Pictured are the top 3 posters that will be judged by the State Farm Bureau. Great job young artists!

We had the privilege of hosting Amy Zwick, Monroe County Engineer, who shared her invaluable insights on being a woman in engineering with our Design and Modeling students. Ms. Zwick discussed her professional journey, including her training and work experience, and challenged students to devise solutions for real-world engineering issues. They explored critical topics like budgeting, equipment management, and county engineering responsibilities. Engaging the next generation of engineers is crucial for diversity in our field!
