✨📚 Celebrating Black History Month in Miss Batton's 6th Grade ELA Classes! 📚✨
Miss Batton's 6th grade ELA students have been hard at work honoring Black History Month through research, collaboration, and creativity! Each group researched an influential historical figure and worked together to create a collaborative poster showcasing that individual’s life, accomplishments, and impact on history.
This project encouraged students to practice close reading, research skills, teamwork, and pride in their learning while deepening their understanding of Black History and its lasting influence. We are so proud of their thoughtful work and meaningful discussions!
