It's Gameday!!! Our Lady Engineers are looking to earn their fourth straight Mason-Dixon Conference volleyball title tonight at Clay-Battelle starting at 6:00.

Good Evening Short Line School Famillies. Join us this coming Saturday for a spooktacular time at the annual Short Line PTO Halloween carnival. The carnival is Saturday, October 24th from 5 until 8 PM at Short Line School, doors open at 4:45 PM. The carnival is open to the public and fun for all ages. If you have a child running for king or queen, all votes need to be turned in Friday, October 23rd between 3:00 and 6:30 PM. No votes will be accepted before or after this time.

Ms. Emch’s 6–8 Reading classes have been getting into the Halloween spirit with a Spooky Season Bookmark Contest 🕷️ We loved seeing our students’ creativity shine through their fun and festive designs!

This is for families of 7th and 8th grade students. Your student is being asked to participate in a short survey named the Integrated Community Engagement Collaborative Youth Survey on October 13th. This survey will help us understand what life is like for students in our community: what they enjoy, what they wish was different, and whether they feel supported by the people around them. The survey will help us understand what students in 7th-12th grades are experiencing and what they are exposed to in their communities.



Their answers are anonymous, and please encourage them to answer honestly so the community can learn what students truly need. Their responses cannot be traced back to them in any way. The information they share will help counties apply for grants that fund programs, activities, and opportunities for youth.



A Parent Letter was sent home on Monday, October 5th with more information about the survey. Every student that participates in the survey is entered in a drawing to win an iPad.

Thank you to everyone who attended Short Line's Fall Family Fun Family Game night! Attendees were about to rotate through different stations, learning and playing classic and new board games and were able to take one home! Participants were also treated some family organizational tools and books from Covey! Thank you again for all who attended.
