Ahoy, Mateys! 🏴‍☠️ Today was Dress Like a Pirate Day at NMS! Our little buccaneers sailed through a day full o’ fun, adventure, and laughter. Each young swashbuckler discovered their very own treasure box, filled with surprises! From eye patches to pirate maps, it was a day of imagination and exploration on the high seas of learning. #ILoveMyWVSchool

The Wetzel County Numeracy Team will be presenting fun little Math Minis... Join us for a practical and engaging professional development session designed for teachers, ECCATS, and aides who want to strengthen their math instruction. This workshop focuses on hands-on activities and strategies that make math concepts clear and accessible for all learners.

Short Line 2nd Graders in Mrs. Smith's and Mrs. Ice's class have been learning about landforms. They have learned how land can change quickly and slowly over time. On Friday they got to make a volcano to model one way that land can be changed! 🌋 #ILoveMyWVSchool ❤️🖤

Wetzel County Schools would like to congratulate our attendance winners for the first month of school. Congratulations to Paden City Elementary who led the grade schools with a 96% rate, and to Valley High School who led the high schools with a 92% rate. Also, congratulations to all of our county schools as each one had an attendance rate higher than 90%! Great job!
