Short Line School ESY and Summer Boost students celebrated their last day with a fun-filled trip to Bruce Park! They enjoyed a round of mini golf and cooled off with delicious sno cones. What a great way to wrap up the summer session! ⛳🍧☀️
Students from NMS and PCE had a fun-filled day packed with activities! They ended their exciting day with an ice cream party, enjoying sweet treats and making memories with friends.

Mr. Wilson’s students had a fun-filled morning! They read a book and drew pictures of their favorite parts of the story, letting their creativity shine.
Students also enjoyed a color-by-number activity — they solved math problems to reveal a colorful, surprise picture! To wrap up the day, they learned all about the importance of helmet safety while riding their new scooters.
Today, students enjoyed a fun and educational trip to the local café! They practiced reading menus, placing their own orders, and even used their math skills to add up their totals. A great real-world learning experience! 💙❤️
Zack from Oglebay’s Zoo visited SLS students today! He brought along a pancake tortoise, a Madagascar hissing cockroach, and a opossum. The kids loved meeting these amazing animals up close. Meanwhile, students also had fun decorating rocks with Mrs. Brown. Such an exciting and creative day at SLS!❤️🖤 #WetzelCountySchools #ZooToYou #ESYFun

Students at Hundred Heritage took a break from learning to fly the airplanes they made! They all turned out to be pretty great pilots. 🛩️💙❤️
Students at Summer Boost took a fun break from learning today! They enjoyed shooting hoops on the basketball court and got creative building a skyscraper out of Legos. We love seeing them learn, play, and grow together!🏀
Mrs. Vaughn’s class had a wonderful week at summer school! Her students have been working hard on learning their alphabet and practicing their numbers. We are so proud of their progress!
SLS ESY and Summer Boost students wrapped up the week with an exciting hands-on lesson from VHS Ag teacher, Mr. Morris! Students learned all about pumpkins and even got to plant their very own.
Afterward, we headed to the grand reopening of the Wetzel County Family Support Center Pine Grove Satellite Office. Our kids loved meeting Mr. Jennings and exploring the soil trailer to learn about everything happening underground.
To top it off, they enjoyed sno cones, cotton candy, and face painting!
