🌟 Wetzel County 4-H Day of Giving – March 25 🌟
Hello friends of Wetzel County 4-H!
On Wednesday, March 25, we will be participating in WVU’s Day of Giving—and we need your help to reach our goal!
Last year, your generosity helped us raise $3,605 through 506 gifts and challenge bonuses. Those funds made it possible to design and purchase interpretive signs for the Wetzel 4-H Trail. Thank you for making that happen!
This year, our goal is 300 gifts, which will help us design and install a natural playground along the trail. One exciting feature we hope to add is a Pebble Harp

Mrs. Starkey’s 2nd grade class showed some amazing productive struggle this morning while helping Goldie McMuffins track down his missing gold!
Students worked hard to solve clues, think critically, and collaborate with their groups to unlock each box. The determination and teamwork were incredible—and in the end, every group successfully broke out!

This month’s focus was staying safe online, providing important tips and resources to help keep our students and families protected in today’s digital world. From social media awareness to internet safety, it was a great opportunity for learning and connection.

Join us for the Small Business Club Gathering hosted by the Wetzel-Tyler Chamber of Commerce this Thursday, March 19th, from 9:00–10:00 AM at the Valley Diner! Come connect with local businesses and organizations from around the area while enjoying breakfast and great conversation. Superintendent Porter will be there sharing updates on what’s happening in Wetzel County Schools and offering insight into the future of our schools.

With the start of baseball and softball season upon us, we wanted to give you a sneak peek at a mock-up of the baseball and softball fields planned for our new school.
Our students will love the opportunity to play on these new fields, which are designed with state-of-the-art equipment and modern facilities to support both practice and game-day experiences.
