Christine Mitchell, WCS Board of Education member and Hope Gas employee, was instrumental with HHS becoming a Community Partner with Hope Gas. HHS Principal, Mr. Wilson applied for a grant with Hope Gas in the amount of $3000 to go to clothing, food, and school supplies. The principal started the Hornet Pride Program at Hundred High School to help student's basic needs. Mr. Wilson spoke on the importance of the community partnership, "We are proud to be a community partner with Hope Gas. This money will go a long way to help our students. I want to thank Mrs. Mitchell and Hope Gas for all they do for the students of Hundred and Wetzel County." #thankful #Wetzelcs #community


For Project Lead the Way, sixth grade students in Mr. Mills's Design & Modeling class at LDS designed and built paper skimmers and tested them for effectiveness of design. After completing the test runs, they will make modifications and run again. #learn #engagement #thinking #Wetzelcs
