Cold and flu season is here, but we can all do our part to keep germs away! Follow these simple steps to protect yourself and others: ✅ Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. ✅ Use hand sanitizer when soap isn’t available. ✅ Cover coughs and sneezes with a tissue or your elbow. ✅ Stay home if you’re feeling sick to prevent spreading illness. ✅ Keep surfaces clean and avoid touching your face. Check out the posters below for more helpful tips on preventing the flu! Let’s work together to stay safe, healthy, and flu-free this season. 💙

🌟 We’ve hit the halfway point for the Kids Heart Challenge! There’s still time to register: https://www2.heart.org/site/SPageNavigator/ym_school_search.html. Check out the amazing Thank You Gifts from the American Heart Association in the pictures below! 🎁 If 50 students complete Finn’s mission, we’ll have a pajama day! 💤 And if 150 students do, there will be an assembly where one lucky student gets to turn the principals into a human ice cream sundae! 🍦 Are you ready to join the fun? Let’s do this!

It is with both excitement and sadness that we say goodbye to Miss Amos, our fifth-grade teacher at NMS. While we are thrilled for her as she embarks on a new journey in Marshall County, we will deeply miss the dedication and energy she brought to our school each day. Miss Amos has made a lasting impact on her students, always pushing them to do their best while creating a fun and supportive learning environment. Whether through engaging lessons, encouraging words, or simply sharing a laugh, she has helped shape the minds and hearts of so many. To commemorate her time here, we captured two perfect class pictures—one with big smiles and a serious pose, and another that perfectly reflects her fun and lighthearted spirit with goofy faces! Miss Amos, NMS will never forget you. We know you will continue to inspire and make a difference wherever you go. Best wishes on this exciting new chapter! Your NMS Family ❤️
