Today, our middle school students took part in the West Virginia State Treasury’s Get a Life program! This interactive simulation gave our students a hands-on experience in managing finances and making real-life choices. 💸💡
Throughout the program, students were assigned a career, salary, and monthly budget, challenging them to navigate expenses like housing, groceries, and transportation. They learned about the importance of budgeting, saving, and making wise financial decisions—skills that will serve them for a lifetime! 🙌💰
Thank you to the West Virginia State Treasury for bringing this valuable program to our school and to our incredible staff for their support in making today a success. It’s never too early to learn about managing money, and our students are well on their way to becoming financially savvy! 🌟📈
A huge thank you to those in the community and board office for volunteering to help run this program.
