April is Autism Awareness Month. April 2nd is Autism Awareness Day – a special occasion to raise awareness about autism, promote inclusivity, and celebrate the unique and valuable contributions of individuals with autism. This day invites us to think about creating a world where everyone, no matter how they think or interact, feels seen, valued, and understood.
Together, we can help dismantle the barriers that often prevent acceptance and inclusion. Let's work together to ensure no one feels isolated or misunderstood because of their neurodiversity. We can build a stronger, more compassionate world by embracing our differences. Let’s all commit to promoting kindness, acceptance, and inclusion today and every day by wearing blue on April 2nd.

NMS Softball hit the field for their very first game Thursday— and what a game it was! While it was a tough loss, 6-4, our girls played with heart, hustle, and true team spirit. They made us proud from the first pitch to the last out. The scoreboard doesn’t show it, but the future of NMS Softball is looking very bright! Let’s go, Lady Eagles 🦅

Students headed outside to observe clouds while learning about weather patterns. Who knew cloud watching could be so educational and perfectly timed?

It was a total Mountaineer Mix-Up today! Mrs. Walton and two students showed up rocking the Mountaineer gear — Either great minds think alike… or there’s a secret Mountaineer dress code we didn’t know about. 😉

ATTENTION::
Bus 23-1 and Bus 18-2 will not be running at all today
