Sixth grade PLTW students presented their final design projects today. Each group focused on a child with an occupational therapy need such as hand eye coordination, pincer grasp, or walking with a walker. They brainstormed, collaborated, sketched, and built a prototype to help make therapy fun. All designs were unique and age appropriate. Wildcats are great engineers!

Our Pennies for Paul class winner was Mrs. Tara Jackson! Because her students raised the most money, she received a pie in the face! She then shared her prize with Miss Mace! Thanks to all who donated to our Pennies for Paul project! All proceeds will benefit Mr. Paul, our bus driver. Thank you, Mrs. Jackson, for being a good sport and sharing your prize!💚🤍💰🚌

The 6th graders definitely know how to pick a fun, active reward—nothing beats a good kickball game to bring everyone together, enjoy the outdoors, and add a little competition! It was definitely a fun time for a special group of kids!

What an incredible day of learning and adventure for our 3rd and 4th grade students at the Grave Creek Mound in Moundsville, WV! Our young historians stepped back in time to uncover the fascinating secrets of the Adena people, who built this ancient burial mound over 2,000 years ago.
From climbing the mound to exploring artifacts at the Delf Norona Museum, our students were amazed by the rich history and archaeology that make this site so special. Hands-on activities and storytelling made history come alive, sparking curiosity and excitement about the past and the significance of this historical landmark.
