ROAR-ing Success at PCES! PCE’s PBIS ROAR Session was a blast as we celebrated our students’ positive behavior during the first 9 weeks! From bouncy houses to a dance party and playground fun, our Wildcats had an afternoon full of joy, laughter, and well-deserved recognition. We even had a special guest! 🐾It was truly a great day at PCES! 💚🤍

Our students continue to develop programming, building, design, and collaboration skills through robotics! Miss Stephen and Mrs. Kimble are working together to share their expertise and create meaningful learning experiences for our students.
Yesterday, Punxsutawney Phil saw his shadow and predicted six more weeks of winter! At PCES, we chose to celebrate the day! Miss Carly paraded through the halls with her very own replica of the most famous groundhog. She treated our staff to sausage pizza and groundhog themed snacks. PreK students celebrated the day in their own special way!
It was such a wonderful day spent with our students!

After learning how to use a dial caliper in PLTW Design & Modeling, this young man wanted one of his own.
A dial caliper is a precision measuring tool used to measure the distance between two points. It can measure inside dimensions, outside dimensions, depth, and step measurements. The little circular dial on the front helps you read the measurement more easily and accurately.
Thanks to Mr. Trader’s kindness, a wish came true in the best way! Mr. Trader received a new dial caliper for Christmas and generously gifted his old one.
What a thoughtful gesture!

Our second grade students were creative with their spelling practice! Using tiny letter tiles and the iPad camera, they designed their own digital collages to showcase their spelling words. Such a fun way to blend hands‑on learning with tech skills!

We’re incredibly proud to share that Creed has officially received his calendar from the State Fire Marshal’s Office — and guess who’s featured in May 2026?
This recognition is well‑deserved, and we couldn’t be more excited to celebrate this milestone with him!
B is for Bear Day in Kindergarten! We read to our bears, measured with bear paws, and wrote sentences about our bears!
These outstanding students truly know what it takes to be a leader. They’ve demonstrated exemplary leadership skills and shared attributes of an effective leader—such as being proactive, listening well, helping others, showing kindness, and being a great friend.
We are incredibly proud of their hard work and positive influence!
Fifth graders explored how germs spread in Ms. Stephen’s PLTW Launch Infection Detection course! Today, they conducted an experiment using the scientific inquiry process. Students applied Glo Germ lotion to their hands and tested different cleaning methods: hand sanitizer, liquid antibacterial soap, bar soap, and plain water. After washing, they used UV lights to reveal the surprising results! Hands-on learning at its best!
