Our cooks are simply the best!

Mr. Jackson, United States Army National Guard helicopter pilot, shared his flight expertise with our 3rd grade PLTW Launch students today. He found it impressive that our students understood balance and unbalanced, the four forces, Newton’s Laws of Gravity, and the terms fuselage, stabilizer, and wings. In this flight unit, students design, build, and test an experimental model glider to determine how air and other forces affect its flight. Students apply the design process as they problem solve how to deliver aid to a remote area only accessible by aircraft.

PCES Fire Prevention Poster winners will now advance to the next level! Great job, Wildcats!

During Launch, Kindergarten students practiced their engineering skills building houses for The 3 Little Pigs. The Big Bad Wolf came for a visit to test their skills!

All about Me is the current theme in PreK. Using a light table, each child created a self portrait! What a talented group of children!

When "Happy Birthday" is our favorite song, a whole week of celebrating is absolutely fitting—balloons, counting cupcakes, singing, and reading!

As part of our animal studies unit, Ms. Mace’s 4th grade continued the tradition of raising monarch butterflies. From egg to caterpillar, chrysalis to butterfly, they have witnessed the full metamorphosis right before their eyes! They have released two so far this year, with many more to come, so stay tuned!🦋

Our Wildcats signed the pledge to show up. Students pictured are our weekly winners!

PCES kindergarten students focused to complete their iReady diagnostic assessments! They are very appreciative of their new iPads! #ILoveMyWVSchool
