We concluded our community week at Energy Express with a visit from the Paden City Volunteer Fire Company. Brittany Darnell taught the children about fire safety, and each child got to try on some fire gear. Of course, we learned about the stop, drop, and roll method. Before leaving, Brittney gave the kids firefighter stickers, coloring pages, and a fire plan. Thank you, Brittney, for educating the children on fire safety!

We had a memorable visit from veteran Denny Longwell during Community Week at Energy Express. He shared stories from his service, training experiences, and what inspired him to serve his country.
Thank you, Denny, for the visit and your service!

Energy Express got to kick off our community week by welcoming Deputy Owens and Lieutenant Glasscock from the Wetzel County Sheriff's Office. They both did an amazing job educating the children on bullying and what they each do as a sheriff. Before they left they showed the kids the different kinds of equipment they keep in their car and even allowed a few kids to try out the sirens and lights.
Thank you so much Wetzel County Sheriff’s Office for a great visit!

The Energy Express children were excited to welcome the Dollar Dog from Bayer Heritage Federal Credit Union today, along with reader Jenna Arnett who read money-saving books and answered their questions. The Dollar Dog gave each child a gift bag before departing.
