Students at NMS in PLTW Design and Modeling are creating Paper Skimmers. Students have been learning about U.S. Customary and metric systems, how to measure accurately to 1/16,” read a dimensional sketch, and build a paper skimmer from a dimensioned sketch. Later this week students will be recording and plotting data from their skimmers.
