We wrapped up the school year in true NMS style—with laughter, celebration, and a whole lot of inflatable fun! Our staff pulled out all the stops to make the last day memorable.
As students boarded the buses one final time, they were sent off with a shower of confetti and waves of joy from our incredible staff, dressed in an array of blow-up costumes. The smiles were contagious and the spirit was unmatched!
Thank you to our amazing students, staff, and families for a fantastic year. Enjoy your summer—see you in August! 💙💛

Summer Meals

It’s amazing to see teamwork, creativity, and good ol’ fun in action as we wrap up the year. These memories will stick with our students long after the school year ends! Third graders fill the hall with cheer.

Rain or shine, the fun must go on! Due to the weather, our first grade picnic was moved indoors—but that didn’t stop the excitement! Classrooms transformed into stations of fun with giant cup stacking, Gaga Ball, ring toss, Lego building, and more! 🎨🧱🎯

Mrs. Trader’s third graders took a magical virtual field trip to Disney! They explored the parks and enjoyed fun Disney-themed activities—all without leaving the classroom. A magical day full of smiles and creativity!

Our third graders brought the pages of Mo Willems’ books to life during our annual Mo Willems Day! Students transformed into their favorite characters from Elephant & Piggie, the Pigeon series, and more—complete with handmade masks, skits, and their own illustrations! From dramatic readings to acting out their favorite scenes, it was a day full of laughter, creativity, and celebration of all things Mo Willems. The love for reading was contagious, and these young performers absolutely nailed it!
What a fun way to wrap up the year with storytelling, imagination, and a whole lot of heart!

Attention 8th grade families, tomorrow is the Commitment to Commencement program at 10 am.
Following the ceremony there will be light refreshments and an opportunity for you to get a picture with your child.

What an unforgettable evening at the Summer Bash! 🎉 Students had a blast playing beach volleyball with the Chapman’s as referees, dancing to the amazing tunes spun by DJ Volin, and capturing fun selfies! 📸 Our talented Mrs. Vaughn even painted faces, adding to the fun! 🎨 And, of course, there was plenty of pizza to go around! 🍕

What a perfect day for our kindergarten picnic! From face painting and bubbles to bounce houses and crafts, our littlest learners had an absolute blast celebrating the end of the year. They enjoyed hands-on fun with special visitors—including a tortoise friend—and smiled from ear to ear while sliding, crafting, and playing with friends. Thank you to all the staff, volunteers, and families who helped make today so special. These memories will last a lifetime!

It’s been a whirlwind at NMS lately—with class picnics, testing makeups, field trips, Relay for Life, PK graduation, the senior walk, our GSA reward day (yes, we were all so caught up in the fun we forgot the pictures!), and so much more!
With all the excitement, we’re just now getting around to celebrating another amazing group of students—those who showed up on time every morning, gave their best effort, and demonstrated respectful behavior during testing. As part of the celebration, students got a fun lesson in probability as they decided which prize bags to drop their tickets into to boost their chances of winning.
We’re thrilled to share that we awarded 128 prizes to these dedicated students! Their commitment to NMS and their education makes us so proud.
