The WV Steam Tac immersed students in a Wiggle Bot lesson. Students discovered how vibrations caused the Wiggle bot's markers to move. Discussions included topics such as abstract art, waves, and energy.





Mrs. Slider's students enjoyed this cup stacking competition as they practiced their concentration and collaboration skills!




Thank you for your contributions to Kids Heart Challenge! The following students earned prizes: Gideon Rustemeyer, Jameson Briner, Charlie Shepherd, Lily Bucy, and Ava Willis. Gideon Rustemeyer was our top earner! Good job, kids!


PreK fun!







Katie Householder, a WCS Grow Your Own Program student, read to Kindergarten and PreK students. She also facilitated a fun Fox in Socks activity! Thank you, Katie!




The Cat in the Hat brought so much fun to our kindergarten class today! Wetzel County Family Support Team, we appreciate you! Thanks so much for visiting PCES!





Ms.. Palmer facilitated a small math group. Students collaborated as they discussed the value of coins, practiced counting, and solved money related problems. We are very thankful for all of our supervisory teacher aides!



PreK students continued their WV Mobile Ag Lab lesson. Their activity was to color and assemble a pig. There are many breeds and colors, with the latest being a a rainbow pig. Doesn't everyone need a rainbow pig in their life?


Our math smart kindergarten students compared sets using math manipulative models . They checked for accuracy by drawing and counting.




Mrs. Jackson's students worked in small groups to complete meaningful, skill-based learning activities.




Geometry, 3D models, coding, and circuit building challenged and captivated the attention of our Project Lead the Way students!

Kindergarten students celebrated 100 days of learning, friends, and fun!





Our robotics team competed in their first scrimmage today. They scored well in the autonomous skillset,and were commended for their teamwork and collaborative skills. Kandy Stephen and Denise Minger meet with the team weekly. We appreciate the help and support of the many parents today!
