Breakfast with Santa!

Breakfast with Santa part 1 Oh, what fun! Breakfast with Santa was well attended! We enjoyed our time with our school families. The children visited with Mr. and Mrs. Claus, crafted, shopped, and enjoyed a wonderful breakfast. Thank you for attending and supporting our school! We are very thankful for our wonderful PTO, Mr and Mrs. Claus, and our volunteers. Please consider joining our PTO!

National Board Certification is the highest and most respected teacher certification attained through a very rigorous, reflective, and multi-year assessment process. The National Board process is a catalyst for teacher retention and school improvement. Congratulations to our very own National Board Certified Teacher, Miss Carly! (Mrs. Carly Rothlisberger). We are proud of you! We would also like to congratulate Mrs. Sarah Benson Hortert who also earned National Board Certification!

Paden City Elementary 6th grade students were challenged to build a tall tower of KEVA wooden plank. Students discussed the shape of their design and began construction. Students took turns building and assisting one another as the tower grew. After two class periods, students constructed a tower over 8 feet tall with a small light at the top. A special thanks to The Covestro/Westlake/Williams Community Advisory Panel as their generous science grant allowed for the purchase of over 1,600 KEVA wooden planks. Joy Musgrave and Kandy Stephen facilitated this engineering by design challenge.

The 98th annual Macey's Day Parade will stream live November 28th from 8:00-noon. Today, PCE students learned the history of this historic parade and held one of their own! https://youtu.be/Q2391pvhv2I?feature=shared
