Fourth graders at PCE were engineers in STEAM today as they designed skyscrapers with Keva Planks. The planks were purchased with a grant provided by the Covestro/Westake/Williams Community Advisory Panel! Students at NMS in PLTW Design and Modeling are creating Paper Skimmers. Students have been learning about U.S. Customary and metric systems, how to measure accurately to 1/16,” read a dimensional sketch, and build a paper skimmer from a dimensioned sketch. Later this week students will be recording and plotting data from their skimmers.
