Students had a fun week at ESY! Author Brian Croasmun visited Short Line School with Little Kevin, sharing stories and inspiring our young readers. To top it off, they enjoyed a fun lunch trip to Pizza Hut — nothing better than pizza and friends to end a great week!

Students at Long drain school are kicking off their summer school adventure with enthusiasm and excitement, reunited with friends and embarking on a memorable trip to the local library for a day of stimulating fun.💙❤️

Wetzel County Schools will be collecting donations to support the families and communities of Ohio County impacted by the devastating floods over the weekend.

Ohio County is in urgent need of:
• Cleaning supplies
• Bottled water

A huge thank you to Stalder’s Family Creamery for hosting the first annual Celebrity Scooper Night!
We’re incredibly grateful to the New Martinsville Police Department, Wetzel County Hospital, and Bayer Heritage Federal Credit Union for stepping behind the counter and scooping with a smile.
Thanks to the amazing turnout and generous support from our community, we raised nearly $2,000 in tips for the United Way of the Upper Ohio Valley!
It was a night full of laughter, smiles, and community spirit — all for a great cause. We’re already looking forward to next year!
