The National School Counseling Week celebration will be held from February 3-7, 2025. This special week is intended to highlight the critical role school counselors play in supporting students achievement and future goals. The chosen theme for this year is "School Counseling: Helping Students Thrive."

Our Pre-K and Special Education staff, as well as support staff, are receiving training today in the Picture Exchange Communication System, which will facilitate communication with our non-verbal students.



In a collaborative effort, Title 1 Reading and Math teachers, along with interventionists, met today to prepare for the analysis of iReady benchmarks, now being administered as part of mid-year assessments. By identifying areas of strength and weakness, teachers will develop targeted interventions to support the individual needs of each student in Wetzel County, driving growth and success. #WCS #TITLE1 #SUCCESS
